No, Isaiah Thomas didn’t block this shot. But when Omer Asik caught the ball a foot from the basket, Thomas didn’t back down, despite 15 inches of height difference between them:

Thomas got to the right spot, made Asik hesitate, and when Asik did try to slam it down, he misfired, in part because of the effort he put into shoving Thomas off of him.
