Zach Randolph bearhugged a WWII Marines Veteran after the Grizzlies’ win

This will make your month.

The Grizzlies hosted a special guest at tonight’s game -- 88-year-old Jimmy Keep, a Marine Corps veteran who fought at Iwo Jima and is a diehard Grizzlies fan. After the Grizzlies beat the Lakers, Zach Randolph went over to thank Mr. Keep with an enormous hug:

Our heart is so full right now. It was a brief moment, but Randolph made one old fan’s night. He also autographed some items for Keep before the game:

Keep spoke to the Memphis Commercial-Appeal about his Grizzlies fandom -- “Randolph’s my guy!“ -- and the paper also wrote a feature about his memories of the battle and attempts to return to Iwo Jima.
