Raptors GM fined $35,000 after claiming he was too poor to trash-talk Paul Pierce
The NBA bumped his fine up $10,000 from last year’s “F*** BROOKLYN!” incident.


After getting fined $25,000 last year for chanting “FUCK BROOKLYN,” Masai Ujiri appeared to think better of getting into a war of words with Paul Pierce.

Welp. The good news is Masai isn’t *that* poor. He makes $3 million a year. But yeah, the NNBA seems to take team officials cursing out other teams/players pretty seriously.
NBA fines Raptors GM Masai Ujiri $35,000 for saying "s---." By comparison, entire league was fined a combined $15,000 for flops in 2014-15.
