Vancouver’s forward skated off the ice, called for help and was tended to by medical staff before being transported to a hospital.

According to Mark Sector of Sportsnet.ca, Burrows left the ice and called for help as he headed toward the team’s locker room. From there, Burrows was moved to the team’s medical room before a stretcher was brought in to transport him.
Brad Ziemer of the Vancouver Sun tweeted that Burrows appeared to be injured as headed out of the rink:
Burrows left this morning's game-day skate early, looked to be in distress and favouring right arm. #Canucks
— Brad Ziemer (@BradZiemer) April 21, 2015 While no specific word was given as to what happened to Burrows, the Vancouver Canucks sent a tweet indicating that he had suffered an “upper body injury” and was transported to the hospital for “precautionary reasons.” The tweet also stated Burrows would not play in Tuesday’s game against the Flames, which is Game 4 of the series between the two and slated for 10 p.m. ET. Calgary leads the series, 2-1.
According to reports, Burrows was conscious when he was taken away:
BREAKING: Burrows's was conscious. Not seemingly in distress. But, this is clearly something more than a wrist issue.
