The Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks just had their most successful season in history, with the school’s hockey team making its first Frozen Four, and they’re building a new $80 million arena set to open in October. Whether that arena has good sports teams or nice seats or structural integrity is irrelevant, because it has something more important:

BEAUTIFUL, GLORIOUS TACOS, PROPELLED THROUGH THE AIR AT HIGH SPEEDS
This is not the world’s first Taco Cannon -- an Austin festival modified a t-shirt cannon to fire tacos like a Gatling Gun -- but we believe this is the first Taco Cannon at an arena.
It’s fun to catch a t-shirt out of a cannon. And sure, hot dogs are fine. But now, we can sit at a sporting event and have somebody shoot a delicious taco at us with a gun and catch it and eat it and savor in its flavorful Mexican glory.
