Julio Teheran didn’t get off to a good start for the Braves Thursday afternoon, walking three of the Mets’ first four batters to load the bases. His response was to try to eat the bad baseball he was pitching with:

— Bartolo Is The Man (@MetsKevin11) April 23, 2015 If only Teheran could unhinge his jaw like a snake, he would've succeeded. Sadly, Teheran's attempted baseball consumption failed and he had to keep pitching. He gave up a bases-clearing double to David Murphy.
Teheran probably could’ve been penalized for this somehow -- you can’t doctor the ball or spit on it, so biting into it probably isn’t OK.
