Klitschko vs. Jennings live results: Round 7

Wladimir Klitschko may be fading, as Bryant Jennings looks to come alive.

Bryant Jennings is looking alive here in Round 7, after winning the sixth round. Landing a couple good shots here early, Jennings looked more confident and turned up the pro-American members of the crowd in New York.

Klitschko came back with a nice shot of his own, maybe feeling he needed to respond with something eye-catching. With a minute left in the round, a big “USA” chant went up, with Jennings moving around on the outside, making Wladimir miss on a hook and a right hand. Jennings’ footwork and slipperiness gave Klitschko little to work with this round.

HBO judge Harold Lederman suggested after the last round that Klitschko may have injured his right hand at some point, as he’s not doing much with that hand. Lederman may be right, as Klitschko is really not using it. But it could just be that Klitschko has struggled when guys aren’t really easy to hit.

SB Nation scores the round 10-9 for Jennings, with Klitschko now leading 68-65
