Bryant Jennings looked to further work his way in, and he may have hurt Klitschko just a bit in the ninth round, or at least caught him off balance. Klitschko was warned -- “final time” says the ref -- for holding. A really good right hand from Klitschko landed, but he was really outhustled by Jennings in this round.

This has turned out to be a surprisingly competitive fight, with Jennings turning Klitschko’s right side red with some battering shots to the body, and some good shots upstairs, too. I like what he did this round -- Klitschko’s firm right might have been the best punch of the round, but Jennings won this round. This was Bryant’s best round of the entire fight, and a clear round for him despite the one really good punch, and Jennings took that shot very well.
