After several warnings from the referee, Wladimir Klitschko was penalized one point for excessive holding, as referee Michael Griffin finally pulled the trigger on that. That could be a very big point, and Klitschko is now very aware of how dangerous his normal clinch level could be.

Crowd was alive for Klitschko, but Jennings still did some good work. That said, so did Klitschko, as he landed a little at range. Body shots from Jennings. This was a close round, winnable for either man in the final 30 seconds. It’s the activity of Jennings that gave Klitschko some headaches, and his high guard befuddled the power attack of Klitschko.
Jennings whacked away at the body late in the round, trying to steal it. But Klitschko landed the best punches of a fairly even round, and we shade it his way.
