The Ducks made up fake mean tweets to read on ‘Social Media Night’

Millenials LOVE social media!

Last night the Anaheim Ducks displayed a staggering misunderstanding of both social media and comedy by attempting to replicate Jimmy Kimmel’s “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets” bit during their Social Media Night. The Royal Half did some crack reporting and quickly discovered that none of these tweets had ever actually been tweeted.

The Royal Half’s full investigation is worth reading, but in the meantime, consider this: the Anaheim Ducks organization wrote really mean things about its own players and forced them to read those things out loud on camera. Does someone wanna get their HR department on this?
