Mayweather vs. Pacquiao current odds: Floyd still the favorite, but lines tightening
Floyd Mayweather remains the favorite to win tomorrow night, but with money raining down, Manny Pacquiao’s lines are moving in.
With one day remaining before Mayweather vs Pacquiao, the odds have shifted just a bit toward Manny Pacquiao, though the unbeaten Floyd Mayweather does remain the favorite to win tomorrow night’s huge fight.
Whereas on Thursday, Mayweather was favored between -200 and -225, his odds have tightened up to between -199 and -220. Not a lot, but certainly worth noting. More significant is the lines on Pacquiao, which have gone from +175 to +200 down to +160 to +195. Again, not huge, but certainly meaning that money is moving around, largely for Manny Pacquiao, which is not unexpected.
Pacquiao (57-5-2, 38 KO) has won his last three fights over Brandon Rios, Timothy Bradley, and Chris Algieri, most recently fighting in November. Mayweather (47-0, 26 KO) has never lost as a professional, most recently beating Marcos Maidana twice, in May and September of last year.
The two featured undercard bouts on the pay-per-view are still landslides on the sports books. Vasyl Lomachenko is favored between -2500 and -4500 against Gamalier Rodriguez, who has lines of +1199 to +2250. Even more of a mismatch on paper is Leo Santa Cruz’s fight with Jose Cayetano. Many books aren’t even offering a line on this fight, but 5Dimes has Santa Cruz at -11000 to Cayetano’s +3000, and Bovada has Santa Cruz at -5000.
