This is star Chris Paul leaving Game 7 midway through the first quarter with a left hamstring injury. He went to the locker room after grabbing his hamstring after a made three-pointer.

He was in the locker room for several minutes, but after being deemed questionable to return, he checked back into the game with six minutes and 27 seconds left in the second quarter despite limping heavily. He played heroically at times, but also struggled to move defensively and play with his usual pace.

But midway through the third quarter, it got worse.

He tried playing on a couple more possessions after that happened, but couldn’t even bring the ball up the floor. He was taken out a few plays later.

However, he returned again to end the third quarter and made this amazing shot to give Los Angeles a one-point lead.

What a heroic performance.
