Someone started the clock early and messed up the Spurs’ final play

A very strange thing happened at the end of the Clippers’ win over the Spurs. San Antonio prepared to inbound with one second left down by two points ... and someone started the clock inadvertently.
Needless to say, Gregg Popovich and Spurs owner Peter Holt were pissed.
The Spurs had to inbound again and Matt Barnes batted away an attempted lob pass to Kawhi Leonard. Who knows what would have happened if the clock started appropriately.
