Game 2 of Western Conference Finals between the Ducks and Blackhawks was an epic, going almost three full overtime periods before Marcus Kruger notched Chicago’s winning goal. The teams played 56 minutes, almost a whole game, after regulation ended, and it ended up being the longest game in the almost 90-year history of the Blackhawks.
We’re with you, sleeping triple overtime Anaheim Ducks kid, we’re with you
This game was past one Duckling’s bedtime.

All in all, the game lasted over five hours, with the final goal scored at 11:08 p.m. local time, 2:08 a.m. ET. Unsurprisingly, it was past at least one little Duckling’s bedtime:
— MarcusD (@_MarcusD_) May 20, 2015 The good news is this kid hopefully slept through that third OT and still doesn't know that the Ducks lost. The bad news is some of us stayed up and watched that game and now it's 8:20 a.m. and we have to do work and stuff. Why did you have to do that, sports? Why do you have to turn our brains into mush?
Also, if you are the parents of this kid: he’s in the front row and he is probably still there. Please go back and get him.
