82-year-old Florida man arrested for slashing tires after dispute in bingo hall

Fred Smith is an 82-year-old man who is extremely passionate about bingo, or more aptly a seat in his favorite bingo hall. He became incensed when 88-year-old Ethel Britt had the audacity to steal his seat and decided he was going to do something about it after storming out. Naturally this meant slashing her tires with an ice pick.
Britt was obviously shaken up by the incident.
“I didn’t think anyone would be low enough to do that to my car because I didn’t know I had any enemies in my life,” she said. “I thought everybody was my friend, but undoubtedly I have one enemy.”
The real question here isn’t why this man got so worked up over a seat, or what went through his mind when he slashed her tires, it’s: What the hell did he need an ice pick for in Florida?
And because everything is better with a little Taylor Swift...
