— Fresno State (@Fresno_State) June 11, 2015 In March, Fresno State suffered a sports dog tragedy when the last mascot, Victor E. Bulldog II, died at just two years old after being stung by a bee. But now it's time to move forward, and there's no better way to do that than a brand new tiny little bulldog puppy. Meet Victor E. Bulldog III:

— Victor E Bulldog III (@VictorEBulldog) June 11, 2015 Victor is just three months old, according to his official university birth certificate:

— Victor E Bulldog III (@VictorEBulldog) June 9, 2015 Victor weighs just 13 pounds but will grow to be as big as 50. He should be a tad less puppy-like when the Bulldogs take the field in September, so it's important that you bookmark this page to remember him at his puppiest.
We have not yet added him into our definitive live mascot rankings.
