Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig hit nine triples in 2014, so they shouldn't come as a surprise. But on Tuesday against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field, everyone was surprised at Puig's latest three-bagger.
Yasiel Puig hits pop fly triple vs. Cubs

With two outs in the sixth inning, Puig hit a high pop fly to short right field, surely to end the inning. Only right fielder Mike Baxter had no clue where the ball was, losing it in the lights. The ball dropped 30 feet from anyone, and Puig kept motoring to third base.
It was the second triple of the season for Puig, but he was stranded at third in the inning.
