2015 NBA Draft results: Sixers pick Arturas Gudaitis 47th overall

Philadelphia gets a Lithuanian big man in the second round.

The Philadelphia 76ers took Arturas Gudaitis with one of their many second-round picks, grabbing the 6'10, 250-pound Lithuanian with the 47th overall pick.

The 22-year-old, who plays for Zalgiris in his home country, went a bit lower than expected -- Draft Express had him going 37th overall, and ranked him as the No. 1 international player born in 1993. He relies mainly on his athleticism to produce: his primary talents are scoring around the rim and offensive rebounding.

The 76ers have focused on big men during the NBA Draft: Their first pick, the third overall in the draft, was Duke's Jahlil Okafor. Their second, which was eventually traded to the Knicks, was Spanish center Guillermo Hernangomez. Their third, 37th overall, was Bowling Green power forward Richaun Holmes. This is on a team that already has Joel Embiid, Nerlens Noel, Thomas Robinson, and Furkan Aldemir. It's going to be tough fighting for minutes.

With that many bigs, it’s unclear if the Sixers intend on bringing over Gudaitis or leaving him stashed in Lithuania.
