Colin Cowherd has panned John Wall ever since he Dougie'd his way through starting introductions in his first NBA game. On Cowherd's Friday show, John Calipari, who coached Wall at Kentucky, told him rather bluntly to "stop."

“You’ve got to stop on John Wall,” Calipari said. “He has come so far. There’s not one time that he doesn’t text me or call me and it ends with, ‘Coach, I love you.’ Are you kidding me? And I’m telling you, he took over a franchise that was abysmal.”
Calipari continued: “You’ve got to go to church. Ask for forgiveness. Let it go by. Let it go. Forgive.”
Honestly, it is about time Cowherd gave up his failing bit on Wall, who carried the Wizards to the second round, played through fractures in his wrist and very nearly beat the Atlanta Hawks in the semifinals.
