Panama calls CONCACAF ‘corrupt thieves’ after controversial Gold Cup loss

Panama was robbed of a Gold Cup win on Wednesday night when referee Mark Geiger penalized them for a non-existent handball. Players and coaches stormed after Geiger following the loss, airing their frustrations over the call.

That was only the start.

Yes, that is the entire Panama team holding up a makeshift banner that calls CONCACAF corruptos ladrones or corrupt thieves. The universal thumbs down from all the players is just a wonderful touch. Kudos to them for not holding back and openly criticizing a garbage call.
