Every important MLB trade rumor in one place

This is it. The MLB trade deadline is less than four hours away and trade talks are heating up. Gone are some of the biggers names like David Price and Cole Hamels, but there are plenty of top name players to be had. Among them, Aroldis Chapman, Yoenis Cespedes and Craig Kimbrel, to name a few.

The Padres are the biggest team that have yet to make any significant moves, but that will surely change as the clock approaches 4 p.m. and teams orchestrate larger deals. Almost every player from the Padres is said to be available for trade, and with several teams needing one or two more pieces to solidify their shot at the playoffs -- like the Blue Jays and Astros -- expect all-out bidding wars.

Some teams have been quiet on Friday, but for some general managers like Tigers’ Dave Dombrowki, it’s their way of doing business. And for the Padres’ A.J. Preller, who has the bank to sell, both teams could become centerpieces of multiple trades.
