That endorsement was reportedly with Lexus, according to the Los Angeles Times’ Broderick Turner.

Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY SportsThe problem with Kanter is his atrocious defense. He doesn’t have the lateral quickness or the fundamentals to defend on the perimeter and was one of the worst rim protectors in the league among players his size. With Dirk Nowitzki really showing his age on the defensive end, Kanter is not a great fit. The Mavericks would also have to max him out and hope the Thunder don’t match, since he is a restricted free agent.

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY SportsThis whole time, we were painted a picture of DeAndre Jordan trapped in his house by his Clippers teammates until the very moment they could get him to sign a new contract and renege on his agreement with the Dallas Mavericks. It almost felt like he was being held against his will and was cut off from contact with the Mavericks on the outside.
As it turns out, the night was more like a pre-teen sleepover.
