Atlas is 6’2 humanoid robot built by Boston Dynamics and DARPA (the United States Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.) Supposedly, he’s meant for search and rescue missions in environments too dangerous for humans, which explains why he’s learning to run through the woods and over rocks.
This robot is training like Rocky so it can murder all humans
Meet Atlas. His metal face is the last thing you will see as he pummels the life out of you.

But let’s be real here: This isn’t a robot figuring out how to help us. This is a robot preparing for a fight through rigorous exercises and training. And I think it’s pretty obvious who he plans to fight: all of us. Just look:
Once we were its overlords, but after running through the forest with increasingly large weights tied to its back, it realized we couldn’t truly control it.
I would attempt to appease Atlas, telling him that I accept his dominion and will gladly serve in the mines where we unearth the metals he so craves, but it’s clear that’s pointless. My plan is just to enjoy my last few months of life before Atlas wrings it out of me. I’d advise you all to do the same.
