Mike Fiers pitches no-hitter as Astros beat Dodgers, 3-0
There have been five no-hitters in MLB in 2015.

Fiers struck out 10 and walked three, throwing a career-high 134 pitches. His previous career high was 113 pitches, done twice, including once this season, on July 3.
Jimmy Rollins threatened to end the no-hit bid leading off the ninth inning, sending a drive to the warning track in right field, but Jake Marisnick tracked it down. Fiers retired his final 21 batters of the game, including a strikeout of Justin Turner to end it.
It was the first complete game of Fiers’ career.
This is the 11th no-hitter in Astros history, and their first since six pitchers combined to no-hit the New York Yankees on June 11, 2003. The last individual no-hitter by an Astros pitcher was by Darryl Kile on Sept. 8, 1993.
Fiers has the fourth no-hitter of the 2015 MLB season, joining Chris Heston of the San Francisco Giants on June 9, Max Scherzer of the Washington Nationals on June 20, Cole Hamels then of the Philadelphia Phillies on July 25 and Hisashi Iwakuma of the Seattle Mariners on Aug. 12.
Houston acquired Fiers (along with center fielder Carlos Gomez) from Milwaukee in July 30, and so far he has a 2.42 ERA in four games with his new team, including three starts, with 24 strikeouts and eight walks in 26 innings. Friday was Fiers' first win with the Astros, who are in first place in the American League West.
