Cris Carter has certainly felt a lot of criticism for his “fall guy” comment at the 2014 NFL Rookie Symposium surfacing this past weekend, with former NFL receiver Plaxico Burress voicing his candid perspective on it Monday evening. In reference to his arrest for shooting himself in a New York City night club in 2008, Burress chimed in on Twitter to express something that he didn’t have in wake of Carter’s words.
Plaxico Burress rips Cris Carter for telling NFL rookies to have a ‘fall guy’
The former NFL star receiver voiced his dismay at the Hall of Famer’s words.

Wow! I guess I didn't have a "fall guy". @NFL #rookiesymposium
— Plaxico Burress (@plaxicoburress) August 25, 2015 In all seriousness, I've made some choices that have resulted in some consequences that I can never get back. BUT, not one time did I blame
— Plaxico Burress (@plaxicoburress) August 25, 2015 Fall Guy. That was a TV when I was growing up.
— Plaxico Burress (@plaxicoburress) August 25, 2015 Bottom line, you can't tell @nfl rookies nothing like that. We suppose to be helping them, not advising them to to have a Fall Guy. Unreal
— Plaxico Burress (@plaxicoburress) August 25, 2015 I glad my son wasn't sitting in that @nfl rookie symposium.
— Plaxico Burress (@plaxicoburress) August 25, 2015 Burress even went on to re-tweet his own tweets to make sure his point got across.
RT @plaxicoburress: I glad my son wasn't sitting in that @nfl rookie symposium.

— Plaxico Burress (@plaxicoburress) August 25, 2015 And just if you thought he was retweeting by accident, he made sure to show that he meant those re-tweets of his words.
Thank you. Haha RT @BrodTHEchode69: @plaxicoburress @NFL power move retweeting yourself.
