Backup Notre Dame QB throws game-winning TD pass, breaks poor UVA fans’ hearts

After losing starting quarterback Malik Zaire to an injury, Notre Dame found itself trailing with only seconds left and its backup quarterback in the game. Then DeShone Kizer connected on a 39-yard bomb to improbably give Notre Dame the lead and eventual win.
While Notre Dame and its fans celebrated, Virginia fans had the opposite reaction.

— RedditCFB (@RedditCFB) September 12, 2015 Poor Virginia fans. Virginia’s hopes were so high after Zaire went down with a nasty leg injury. So close.
It may have been a tough loss for Virginia fans, but that doesn’t mean the rest of the Internet didn’t enjoy it.
