Shane Battier hosts a charity karaoke event, called Battioke, to raise funds for his Take Charge Foundation.
Shane Battier reminds Daryl Morey he traded him for Hasheem Thabeet with scene from Wicked

At this year's event, he sung a duet to the song "Defying Gravity" from the musical Wicked with Rockets' GM Daryl Morey and tweaked some of the lyrics to remind him how Battier's time in Houston ended:
Here are the lyrics if you can’t watch the video right now:
I hope you're happy!
I hope you're happy, too.
I hope you're proud how you traded me to Memphis, so you could have your wishlist! [Points to picture of Hasheem Thabeet, who the Rockets acquired along with DeMarre Carroll and a first round pick, in the deal that sent Battier to Memphis.]
Battier also managed to get in a dig at how Morey lost Chandler Parsons to the Mavericks last season:
If you want to watch two guys who are not professional singers tackle the whole song, you can do that here (via the Houston Chronicle):
Clearly, just the fact this is even happening (Daryl Morey is dressed up like a princess!) shows there’s no animosity, but it’s still pretty hilarious, especially considering it’s all in the name of charity.
