NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar wrote an op-ed in The Washington Post Wednesday morning comparing the presidential campaigns of Donald Trump and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. After complimenting Sanders’ controlled behavior while criticizing the way Trump has run his campaign, Abdul-Jabbar got a not-so-happy reply note from the controversial billionaire mogul later in the day.
Donald Trump responds to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in a typical Trump way
The NBA legend got a heated reply from the controversial mogul turned presidential candidate.

“This note from Donald Trump in response to my editorial is the best, though inelegant, support for my claims,” Abdul-Jabbar wrote in his Facebook comment section of his op-ed piece. “Here again he attacks a journalist who disagrees with him, not by disputing the points made but by hurling schoolyard insults such as ‘nobody likes you.’ But if you look behind the nasty invective, you find the assault still remains against the Constitution in an effort to silence the press through intimidation.”
You can guarantee one thing from this: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar would vote for any Boston Celtics fan whom he loathed the most before he would ever vote for Donald Trump.
