A.J. Green made this happen against the Ravens:
A.J. Green burns Ravens with go-ahead 80-yard touchdown for the second straight year
When the Ravens are leading late against the Bengals, they might wanna just put 11 guys on A.J. Green.
That’s an 80-yard touchdown grab, with two Baltimore defensive backs looking foolish as they attempted to bring him down. As they fell to the ground, he stayed on his feet -- now running backwards, but still running -- and brought it into the end zone for the score. Cincinnati took a 21-17 lead on that play.
But Green wasn’t done -- this TD would seal the 28-24 Cincinnati win:
He finished with 227 yards receiving on the day. That’s a lot!
Does that first TD look familiar? Probably because he did this with five minutes to go when these teams played last year:
That was a 77-yard TD grab, which left two Ravens DB’s falling. Same end zone, even. That one was good enough to secure a 23-16 victory for the Bengals last year.
Memo to the Ravens: guard A.J. Green when it’s close.
