The Cincinnati Bengals-Baltimore Ravens game Sunday was quiet through the first half, and wasn’t that crazy in the third quarter. The fourth quarter, though, saw the game explode in a flurry of points. The crazy last quarter made for huge days for each team’s star wide receiver, with A.J. Green and Steve Smith both having monster fantasy days. In the end, the Bengals won, 28-24.
Steve Smith, A.J. Green trade blows, elate all fantasy owners
The two receivers combined for more than 400 receiving yards and four scores. We break down the fantasy implications.

Green caught 10 balls Sunday for 227 yards and two touchdowns, with both scores coming inside the game’s last seven minutes. Smith scored twice as well, with 186 yards on 13 receptions. No other receiver in the game for either team had more than five catches, and only one had more than three.
Fantasy impact: Each receivers came into Sunday with 16 total fantasy points through two games, though Smith’s came through one good and one bad game, and Green’s came with two more mid-range performances. Smith is still Baltimore’s only real weapon through the air, so he’ll continue to be a target monster as long as he can remain healthy.
As for Green, Marvin Jones is producing for the Bengals (he had 94 yards and a touchdown on five catches Sunday), and Mohamed Sanu has ability as well, but Green is so much better than ... well, just about everyone else, that he’ll continue to be a top-flight receiver.
