Thomas Davis suffers fractured forearm during NFC Championship
Thomas Davis had been having a big game in the Panthers’ defense.

Davis had been playing extremely well before suffering the injury during the second quarter. He was taken in for an X-ray and ruled out of the game shortly after.
Most notably, Davis blew up bruising Cardinals running back David Johnson on a pitch. He has been a key reason why the Cardinals’ offense has struggled to get going on the day. He had six tackles to lead all players before leaving. Two of those tackles were for losses.
Davis injured his arm when Cardinals tight end Daniel Fells jumped into him and was stuffed. Davis put his right forearm out to stop Fells, and then left the game favoring it.
Davis is arguably one of the toughest players in the NFL, having recovered from a torn ACL three times. He had 75 tackles and 5.5 sacks during the regular season.
