Anthony Davis suffers concussion against Rockets
Davis left the court after being elbowed by Tyreke Evans in the second quarter.

Davis suffered a concussion on the play, the Pelicans announced. He did not return to the court.
Any head injury is reason for concern and the NBA has a concussion protocol policy. Davis will have to pass tests before returning to the court. It is unknown how much time he will miss.
The Rockets went on to win the game, 112-111, with Davis on the bench. He had nine points and six rebounds in the 19 minutes he was able to play. Davis is averaging 23.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game this season.
The Pelicans fell to 16-28 after the loss. They’re already a long shot to make the playoffs out West, but Davis’ injury is a huge setback.
