If you’re a fan of winter extreme sports, then Thursday is a big one as the 2016 Winter X Games open with the first full day in Aspen, Colo. There will be four separate events, including several finals, highlighting Day 1.

The Special Olympics Unified Snowboarding Final will open the action at 3 p.m. ET. That will be followed by the Snowmobile SnoCross Adaptive Final at 5:30 p.m. ET and the Snowmobile SnoCross Round One & Final at 6 p.m. ET. The best is being saved for last with the Men’s Ski SuperPipe Final set for 8 p.m. ET.

Simon D’Artois won gold in the Men’s Ski SuperPipe at the 2015 Winter X-Games, followed by Kevin Rolland with silver and Alex Ferreira with bronze. American David Wise, who has won gold in the event three times at the Winter X-Games along with a halfpipe gold medal at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, will once again be a key name to watch this year.

It’s not as busy a day as the other three days in the event, although the festivities end with a pair of concerts at the music stage. Run The Jewels will first hit the stage, then Nas will follow him up to complete the night.
