The Chicago Bears are listing Jay Cutler as doubtful to play in Week 6 vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars. Cutler will miss yet another game due to his sprained thumb suffered back in Week 2.
Jay Cutler injury update: Bears QB doubtful vs. Jaguars
Jay Cutler continues to deal with a thumb injury that’s allowed Brian Hoyer to take over the Bears’ offense.

The veteran quarterback still has not had any reported surgery on the injured thumb, so he could, in theory, return any week now. Perhaps the Bears are letting him sit for the time being so they can get a better look at what Brian Hoyer can do in this offense.
Hoyer has caught fire in recent weeks and made this team at least competitive, something they weren’t for two games of Cutler.
Fantasy Impact: You will not be starting Cutler this week, and he should not even be on your roster. In two games, Cutler has thrown for just 373 yards and one touchdown vs. three interceptions and eight sacks taken.
In comparison, Hoyer has averaged 338 passing yards and two scores in his three starts. He is worth rostering and starting if your main quarterback is injured or on a bye week.
