This is a very tricky injury to deal with. Depending on the extent of the damage, Decker could return as early as next week. The team does not know if surgery will be required, which would likely end Decker’s season if it is performed.
In just over two games of work (missed most of Week 3), Decker has caught nine passes for 194 yards and two scores. He is a focal point in this offense, so losing him would be a tough blow for the Jets and fantasy owners.
Fantasy Impact: It remains unclear when we will know if Decker will play through the injury or opt for surgery. He is not someone you should drop just yet, but be prepared to if he has surgery and goes on I.R.
