Fantasy owners have much to consider after a week of carnage knocked out a few mainstays in leagues of all formats. Additionally, with the Panthers and Cowboys on byes, setting lineups for Week 7 gets even more tricky.
Fantasy football advice, Week 7: who to start/sit for Oakland Raiders vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Dan Ciarrocchi reviews who should be in fantasy lineups or on benches for a potential Week 7 shootout.

But before hitting the “submit lineup” button, there are fantasy implications in each game that have to be carefully considered. The Raiders-Jaguars matchup on Sunday is just one of 15 that do.
Oakland Raiders
Start ‘em
Jaguars defenses in past years have typically been ideal for streaming purposes, but they have quietly held teams like the Colts and Packers in check while allowing zero touchdowns through the air to the Bears or Ravens. It doesn’t render Derek Carr, Amari Cooper or Michael Crabtree worth benching, but Week 7 may not provide the upside fantasy owners are accustomed to seeing from them.
Sit ‘em
Clive Walford isn’t providing enough of an upside to warrant streaming, and the Raiders’ backfield remains an absolute mess. Latavius Murray is back in the lineup after a week of limited practice, but fantasy owners wouldn’t be faulted for leaving him on the bench until he garners more than his season-high of 14 touches in one game.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Start ‘em
Fantasy owners are still waiting for Allen Robinson’s breakout game despite having five games behind him in the season. Hampered by Blake Bortles’ streakiness, Robinson has been a target monster throughout the season, but has yet to top 80 yards in a game. He has a chance to reverse the fortunes of the first five weeks against a Raiders pass defense that ranks last in the NFL. Robinson, Bortles, and Julius Thomas all deserve starting consideration in this juicy matchup.
Start ‘em?
Allen Hurns, who caught at least one touchdown pass in nine games in 2015 has only done so once this season. Hurns managed a respectable 5-74-0 line against the Bears on Sunday, so while he isn’t out of the fantasy conversation, he hasn’t helped his owners enough to instill confidence. He has a chance as an upside flex play for Week 7, but fantasy owners will have to consider his volatility.
Sit ‘em
Coach-speak had fantasy owners believing T.J. Yeldon had wrestled starting duties away from Chris Ivory, but Ivory out-touched Yeldon 13-7 in Week 6. Neither can be trusted as long as both are healthy.
