Fantasy football rankings, Week 8: Wide receivers for standard leagues

The SB Nation fantasy team reveals which wide receivers rank in the top 50 in standard leagues heading into Week 8.

Let’s talk about Allen Robinson. Many expected a regression from his incredible 2015 season, but this is getting ridiculous. His decline isn’t solely his fault. Blake Bortles isn’t getting better and the fourth quarter garbage time production isn’t there to buoy his or Robinson’s numbers this season. Also, Marqise Lee is doing a better Allen Hurns impression than Allen Hurns and he's beginning to demand his own share of targets.

Many stated that if Robinson couldn’t get on track against the Raiders then it was time to stop ranking him as a WR1. I have him ranked at No. 18, the lowest he’s been all season. Robinson has another shot to bounce back this week against the Titans, who he tormented for 15 receptions, 266 receiving yards and three touchdowns in two games last season. If he turns in another three-reception game, then he may not enter the WR1 conversation again this season.

It’s a great week if you didn’t draft Antonio Brown, Odell Beckham Jr., or Jarvis Landry. All those dudes are on bye along with Mike Wallace, Tavon Austin and DeVante Parker. You might be able to find players riding hot streaks like Michael Thomas and Brandon LaFell on waivers to help you get through the week. Otherwise, I hope you have quality options on your bench.
