The Bruins got so complacent with a 4-goal lead they scored on their own net

At least they had some goals to work with.

Colin Miller will want a second chance at this. With the Bruins up 5-1 on the Blue Jackets, Miller committed a mistake only a player in cruise mode would: He put the puck into the back of his own net.

There’s a reason coaches preach a full 60-minute game — any small mistake like that can get a team back in a game. In this case, though, it’s the Blue Jackets and now a three-goal lead. I think Miller’s mistake is safe, though it’ll live in the halls of own goals for the rest of hockey history.
