Fantasy football advice, Week 10: Who to start/sit for Chicago Bears vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Dan Ciarrocchi reviews who should be in fantasy lineups or on benches for a Week 10 NFC matchup

Start ‘em
Mike Evans leads the NFL in targets and receiving touchdowns, and is basically just a monster of a man who needs to be in fantasy lineups of all formats. Forever. #analysis.
Start ‘em?
Doug Martin is a game-time decision, and even if he got the green light, it is fair for fantasy owners to be skeptical of him having a significant workload. That leaves Peyton Barber in line for lead duties against a Bears defense that is allowing the third fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. This isn’t a matchup that should excite fantasy owners, but Barber has RB2 appeal due to his likely heavy workload, regardless of Martin’s status.
Sit ‘em
The Bears have an underrated pass defense that won’t provide a walk in the park for Jameis Winston and his depleted group of pass catchers. Having Evans at his disposal raises Winston’s touchdown ceiling and provides him with some streaming potential, but fantasy owners who missed out on Joe Flacco for streaming still have better options available. Cameron Brate and Adam Humphries can also remain on benches with just four teams on bye.
Chicago Bears
Start ‘em
Jordan Howard has a capable run defense lining up across from him, but after dismantling a sturdy Vikings defense for 202 yards, he deserves the benefit of the doubt for Week 10. Alshon Jeffery and Zach Miller have a far better matchup against Tampa Bay’s porous pass defense, which even propels Jay Cutler into starting consideration against the NFL’s sixth-worst passing defense.
Sit ‘em
Cameron Meredith and Eddie Royal remain off of the fantasy radar, as do Jeremy Langford and Ka’Deem Carey. Howard asserted himself as the team’s lead back in Week 8 and should be treated as such until further notice.
