To the fantasy owners who survived 12 teams going on bye over the course of Week 8 and Week 9, good news – help is on the way. With just four teams taking a break in Week 10, and with several injured players on track to make their return, fantasy owners can breathe a little easier, even as their seasons evolve into must-win weeks down the stretch.
Fantasy football advice, Week 10: Who to start/sit for Miami Dolphins vs. San Diego Chargers
Dan Ciarrocchi reviews who should be in fantasy lineups or on benches for a Week 10 AFC matchup.

When the Dolphins and Chargers square off on Sunday, a few notable fantasy options present themselves.
San Diego Chargers
Start ‘em
Melvin Gordon and Philip Rivers deserve every-week starting consideration, and Week 10 is no different for the quarterback-running back tandem. Seemingly having a new injury to deal with every week, the Chargers’ offense will likely be without Travis Benjamin, who is listed as doubtful. It paves the way for the productive Antonio Gates and Tyrell Williams to get more targets, and fantasy owners could do far worse than deploy either into their lineups as high-upside flexes.
Sit ‘em
Hunter Henry returns, but Gates’ increased involvement should encourage fantasy owners to find different options for their tight end slot. Dontrelle Inman and Kenneth Farrow can also remain on benches.
Miami Dolphins
Start ‘em
After back-to-back 200-yard outings, Jay Ajayi impressed once again, eclipsing the century mark against a vaunted Jets run defense. Now that fantasy owners have seen Ajayi excel in even the toughest of matchups, there shouldn’t be any reason to consider benching him for Week 10 and beyond. The Chargers have allowed a horrendous 13 rushing touchdowns in 2016.
Jarvis Landry, while no longer the focal point of the offense, deserves WR2 consideration against a Chargers defense that is averaging the seventh-most passing yards per game to opponents.
Sit ‘em
Ryan Tannehill’s inconsistency prompted a philosophical chance in the Dolphins’ offense to rely on Ajayi and the ground game. As a result, it’s difficult for fantasy owners to justify starting Tannehill, DeVante Parker or Kenny Stills until further notice.
