Marcus Mariota has been on a roll over the last six weeks. He has thrown for 17 touchdowns and 1,557 passing yards. On the ground in those six games, he has run for 171 yards and two touchdowns. Overall, he has passed for multiple touchdowns in eight out of his 10 starts.
Fantasy football rankings, Week 11: Quarterbacks
The SB Nation fantasy staff rounds up the rankings for the top 25 quarterbacks for Week 11.

His schedule is a mixed bag with some easy starts and a bye week over the next three weeks. In weeks 14 and 15, he faces the tough Denver and Kansas City defenses, and then has another gimme in Week 16 against Jacksonville. I like Mariota and the progress that the offense has made in his second year. If he’s available and you have a roster spot, grab him for the stretch run.
On the injury front, there’s not much to report at all. The only story worth following is in Dallas. Tony Romo has been fully cleared for game action and will probably be the backup quarterback against Baltimore in Week 11. Dak Prescott has done enough to secure the starting job for the rest of the season unless he falls apart or gets injured. Romo would definitely be worth picking up in case something happens to Prescott. It’s looking like the end of the Romo era in Dallas at the moment.
Our last bye week with four teams off is here. The New York Jets, Atlanta, Denver, and San Diego are all off. We’ll be missing fantasy starters in Matt Ryan and Philip Rivers this week. Blake Bortles might be an option you want to take advantage of in Week 11. He’ll be facing Detroit and can provide some garbage-time points. Alex Smith has a good matchup against the Tampa Bay defense. He’s a bigger risk because of the reliance on the running game by Kansas City.
My sleeper this week is Kirk Cousins. He played well against the Minnesota defense in Week 10 and should keep it going against Green Bay. His turnovers and inaccuracies can be frustrating. The upside is a developing running game and multiple receiving weapons in the passing game. I think he’ll pass for 280 yards and two touchdowns against Green Bay this week.
