You may be shocked to hear this, but Drake made the Raptors’ annual Drake Night all about Drake. It’s in the name, after all — can you blame him?
Drake’s fake beef with the Warriors is the most Drake thing
So Drake.

We all know about Drake loves the Warriors
He references them in several songs, including Golden State runnin’ practice at my house from “Summer Sixteen.” That line was inspired by true events, with Curry and some of his family playing on the court outside Drake’s house.
Just two weeks ago, Drake was all about the Warriors
Here he is hanging out in Golden State for an early November game.
But Drake Night meant Drake forgot about all those friendships
When you’re playing Drake’s Raptors, especially on Drake night, Drake’s more like this.
It seemed like Durant didn’t really care for that
The Warriors ended up narrowly beating the Raptors, 127-121.
Durant and Drake may be friends on other nights, but not on Drake night. He doesn’t even give a damn about Drake night, you hear him?
Other Warriors piled on after the game.
“He’s been talking junk for a couple of weeks now, talking about how they were going to beat us and that it’s ‘Drake Night,’” Draymond Green told the San Francisco Chronicle. “He may be a little disappointed.”
Curry was impressed with Drake’s trash talk, even if it didn’t ultimately affect his 35-point evening.
“He tried to come with his A-game, take us out of our game,” Curry said. “Those are just the kind of fun back-and-forth moments that you have with guys that you know.”
Green also fired off this zinger.
(Drake’s boots were actually great, for the record.)
Obviously none of this is a serious beef between Drake and the Warriors. It’s just the two sides having some fun with it.
“These are the nights where we just agree to say whatever needs to be said, then we’ll put it all behind us,” Drake said. “We’ll go out and pretend it never happened.”
Well, maybe except for KD, who actually looked sort of pissed. Drake might need another jersey next time he visits the Bay Area.
