Mario & Luigi, Tango & Cash, Amari Cooper & Michael Crabtree -- these are the greatest duos of our time. Entering Week 9, both Cooper and Crabtree are top-10 fantasy wide receivers (or top-five, depending on the scoring system). With Derek Carr playing well and the Oakland defense doing the exact opposite, both wide outs are good bets to keep this pace throughout the season. Of course, they are in the same division as the Denver Broncos, who they play this weekend. It will be an interesting matchup when the best receiving duo takes on the best passing defense. I still have both ranked in the top 15, but you shouldn’t be surprised if neither tops 100 yards or finds the end zone.
Fantasy football rankings, Week 9: Wide receivers for standard leagues
The SB Nation fantasy team reveals which wide receivers rank in the top 50 in standard leagues heading into Week 9.

In terms of byes, Week 9 is just as bad as Week 8. You’ll need replacements for Larry Fitzgerald, Alshon Jeffrey, A.J. Green and DeAndre Hopkins to name a few. There are a few players coming off hot games like Mohamed Sanu, Allen Hurns and Tyreek Hill that have decent matchups, but it’s going to be a tough week for wide outs. Here are our Week 9 rankings to help make sense of the carnage.
