The playoff push gets more intense in Week 11, and fantasy owners have less and less room for error as the season goes on. More than ever, sleepers and busts need to be accounted for over the course of every game to avoid making a season-dooming mistake. When the Jaguars square off against the Lions, several notable players who garner fantasy consideration need to be accounted for.
Fantasy football advice, Week 11: Who to start/sit for Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Detroit Lions
Dan Ciarrocchi reviews who should be in fantasy lineups or on benches for a Week 11 inter-conference matchup.

Jacksonville Jaguars
Start ‘em
It’s been a disappointing season for the Jaguars’ offense, but fantasy owners and Jaguars fans alike can take solace in the stellar play from Allen Robinson. Despite having a rough start to the season production-wise, Robinson has resembled his 2015 self with touchdowns in back-to-back games and recording his first 100-yard game of the season in Week 10. He remains a WR1 for Sunday.
Start ‘em?
Julius Thomas has had a miserable season for fantasy owners, as the former fantasy stud is 16th among tight ends in fantasy points. However, only the Browns have allowed more fantasy points to opposing tight ends on a per-game basis, and Thomas is worth streaming as a result. He can be considered a boom-or-bust TE1 for Week 11.
Sit ‘em
Blake Bortles’ struggles make him difficult to trust even against a Lions defense that has allowed the third-most passing touchdowns in the NFL. Though the upside remains for Bortles, fantasy owners can do with a far less volatile option at the position with just two fantasy-viable quarterbacks on bye. Allen Hurns and Marqise Lee can remain on benches, as can the backfield tandem of Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon.
Detroit Lions
Start ‘em
Matthew Stafford is an every-week starter, even against a Jacksonville defense that is allowing the fourth-fewest passing yards per game. Stafford has been on fire throughout the season, ranking eighth among quarterbacks in fantasy points and 10th in fantasy points per game. Even in tough matchups, Stafford warrants QB1 consideration. Theo Riddick and Golden Tate can also remain in lineups, as both have benefited from Stafford’s elevated play. Eric Ebron, who has seven catches in each of his last two games, is on the TE1 radar even in a tough matchup.
Sit ‘em
Since Marvin Jones’ 205-yard explosion in Week 3, the former Bengal has just two games of 70 yards in his past six contests. Fantasy owners can keep Jones on benches along with Anquan Boldin and Dwayne Washington.
