The playoff push gets more intense in Week 11, and fantasy owners have less and less room for error as the season goes on. More than ever, sleepers and busts need to be accounted for over the course of every game to avoid making a season-dooming mistake. When the Dolphins square off against the Rams, several notable players who garner fantasy consideration need to be accounted for.
Fantasy football advice, Week 11: Who to start/sit for Miami Dolphins vs. Los Angeles Rams
Dan Ciarrocchi reviews who should be in fantasy lineups or on benches for a Week 11 inter-conference matchup

Miami Dolphins
Start ‘em
Jay Ajayi came back to earth somewhat in Week 10, but still managed a respectable 79 yards against a capable Chargers run defense. With the Dolphins shifting philosophies on offense to focus on the run, Ajayi remains in the RB1/RB2 conversation, even though fantasy owners have likely seen his best outputs of the season already. Jarvis Landry, who has more value in PPR formats, remains a valid flex option even against the Rams’ eighth-ranked pass defense.
Start ‘em?
DeVante Parker erupted for 103 yards against the Chargers in Week 10, but remains a volatile receiving option amid such an inconsistent passing offense. The volume will not always be there for Parker to thrive, but his big-play ability makes him worth a risk for fantasy owners looking to bank on upside. Parker remains a boom-or-bust flex option, although it is possible he has earned more looks in the wake of his impressive outing.
Sit ‘em
Nothing about this matchup indicates that it will be a good week for Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins’ complementary receivers. They can remain on benches of all formats.
Los Angeles Rams
Start ‘em?
The Dolphins have allowed just three rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs, and even though Todd Gurley is a capable talent and the focal point of his offense, fantasy owners are well aware of his downside. Gurley remains a touchdown-dependent RB2, and the odds of him finding pay dirt aren’t great once again.
Sit ‘em
No. 1 pick Jared Goff making his NFL debut provides intrigue to an otherwise stale matchup, but it isn’t enough to warrant fantasy owners to plug him into lineups. Tavon Austin, Kenny Britt and Lance Kendricks can join him on fantasy benches as well.
