The playoff push gets more intense in Week 11, and fantasy owners have less and less room for error as the season goes on. More than ever, sleepers and busts need to be accounted for over the course of every game to avoid making a season-dooming mistake. When the Cardinals square off against the Vikings, several notable players who garner fantasy consideration need to be accounted for.
Fantasy football advice, Week 11: Who to start/sit for Arizona Cardinals vs. Minnesota Vikings
Dan Ciarrocchi reviews who should be in fantasy lineups or on benches for what could turn into a Week 11 defensive slugfest.

Arizona Cardinals
Start ‘em
David Johnson is matchup proof, and that remains the case against a sturdy, but declining Vikings defense in Week 11. Bad news for Larry Fitzgerald presents itself with Xavier Rhodes passing the NFL’s concussion protocol, but he has the benefit of running much of his routes from the slot, where he will likely square off against Captain Munnerlyn if he suits up. Fitzgerald is an upside WR2 for Week 11, and remains the clearest option in the Cardinals’ receiving game.
Sit ‘em
So much for J.J. Nelson being the No. 2 wideout. Michael Floyd responded to this news by having his best game of the 2016 season in Week 10, which implies that the depth chart in Arizona is fluid more than it implies Floyd’s stranglehold on starting duties. Until more clarity emerges, fantasy owners can feel comfortable leaving Nelson, Floyd, and John Brown on benches. The Vikings still boast a top-six pass defense, which leaves owners able to find options better than Carson Palmer.
Minnesota Vikings
Start ‘em
Even if Stefon Diggs finds Patrick Peterson lined up across from him, the Vikings’ passing game begins and ends with the second-year wideout, one who is absolutely on fire. Diggs remains a WR2 with plenty of room to boom after back-to-back games with 13 receptions.
Sit ‘em
Kyle Rudolph isn’t likely to garner much streaming consideration against a Cardinals defense that is allowing 2.3 fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. The Cardinals boast the No. 1 pass defense in the NFL, which obviously leaves Sam Bradford off the streaming radar along with the rest of the Vikings’ complementary receivers. The backfield remains a mess, and fantasy owners don’t have to bother with the trio of Matt Asiata, Jerick McKinnon and Ronnie Hillman.
