Drive and Kick NBA Podcast: The Warriors are making their move
After a slow start, the Warriors are rolling again. Plus, are we worried about the Celtics and Thunder?

On this week’s Drive & Kick podcast, Paul Flannery and John Gonzalez take a closer look at the Golden State Warriors, who are kicking into high gear. Offensively, at least. Defensively, not so much. But who cares about that when you’re putting 120 on the board every night.
There’s also a lot of Celtics and Thunder talk and Gonz makes Flanns play a game of Plant the Flag.
Among the highlights this week:
- Gonz lists his top three restroom encounters. Wow, Lee Majors!
- Lots of Warriors talk. Better get used to it.
- There will be no David West slander on this podcast.
- Flanns has a healthy dose Celtics skepticism until they can get a couple of rebounds.
- Gonz is down on the Thunder. Flanns thinks they’re fine. It basically comes down to how you look at a .500-ish team.
- We make a bunch of dumb predictions that will probably make us look foolish in a few weeks.
- If Pop wants to run for office, Gonz says he’ll run the campaign.
