Fantasy football advice, Week 12: Who to start/sit for Tennessee Titans vs. Chicago Bears
Dan Ciarrocchi reviews who should be in fantasy lineups or on benches for a Week 12 inter-conference matchup.

Start ‘em
The jokes about “exotic smashmouth” were warranted in the offseason, but the fact remains that Marcus Mariota’s stellar play has propelled what should have been a mediocre offense into one of the league’s better ones. As long as fantasy football’s No. 1 quarterback since Week 5 keeps this up, Rishard Matthews and Delanie Walker can also be penned into lineups for Sunday and beyond. Demarco Murray has touchdowns in six consecutive games and leads the Titans’ third-ranked rushing offense into a matchup that should allow the Titans to maintain their identity. He remains a top five option at running back.
Sit ‘em
There’s potential for the fantasy wealth to spread throughout the Titans’ lineup in a game where the Bears are six point underdogs, but with no teams on bye, fantasy owners won’t likely have to resort to starting Tajae Sharpe or Kendall Wright.
Chicago Bears
Start ‘em
Jordan Howard has had a fine rookie season and fantasy owners can’t complain about his performance amid such an anemic offense. Unfortunately, anemic is a word that can be used to describe the ceiling of what’s left of this offense. Jay Cutler, Zach Miller and Alshon Jeffery are out of action, which means that while the offense should begin and end with Howard, it will be difficult for him to move the chains and get to the end zone all by himself. Howard can be considered a boom or bust RB2 due to volume alone, but fantasy owners should not be feeling confident about his prospects.
Sit ‘em
Everyone else. A Matt Barkley led offense is not one that fantasy owners should be messing around with, especially with the Bears’ top two receivers out of action. Cameron Meredith is the de facto top receiver, but hopefully fantasy owners are not in such dire situations where they would need to rely on him for fantasy points in Week 12.
