Fantasy owners already had enough to deal with on Thanksgiving, whether it’s polarizing dishes, cliché racist uncles, or scalding themselves in the kitchen. So no one wants to add “being served a slice of awful fantasy lineup” to their list of gripes, which is completely understandable. So when the Jaguars take on the Bills during the first slate of Sunday’s football games, it’s best for fantasy owners to at least attempt avoiding that outcome.
Fantasy football advice, Week 12: Who to start/sit for Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Buffalo Bills
Dan Ciarrocchi reviews who should be in fantasy lineups or on benches for a Week 12 AFC matchup.

Jacksonville Jaguars
Start ‘em
Allen Robinson found the end zone in Week 11, which is about the only positive that could be drawn from his 18-yard performance. Blake Bortles’ ineptitude in 2016 will cap Robinson’s upside, but the Jaguars’ No. 1 receiver has the talent to produce in spite of that. He remains a boom-or-bust WR2, but one with upside that cannot be ignored. Chris Ivory remains a firm RB2 if T.J. Yeldon cannot suit up, but if Yeldon does, neither make for appealing flex options.
Start ‘em?
Julius Thomas has been ruled out for Week 12, which puts Allen Hurns back on the fantasy radar. Hurns has predictably regressed without the touchdown totals of 2015 to bolster his fantasy point totals, but now that he has less competition for targets, he is back on the flex radar even in a tough matchup.
Sit ‘em
Bortles, Marqise Lee and de facto starting tight end Ben Koyack do not need to be in lineups of any kind.
Buffalo Bills
Start ‘em
The matchup against an underrated Jaguars defense does not bode very well for a banged-up Bills offense, but LeSean McCoy remains a solid RB1, even in the same week he received thumb surgery. He is fully expected to play and it is fair to expect the offense to move through him once again.
Sit ‘em
Yes, Sammy Watkins appears on track to make his return, but fantasy owners would be playing with fire if they inserted him into lineups. Since fantasy owners have already gone several weeks forming their lineups without Watkins, they should be able to survive one more week until it’s seen how effective he is. He and Tyrod Taylor can remain on benches with no teams on byes in Week 12.
