The San Francisco 49ers and Miami Dolphins played a thriller at Hard Rock Stadium, and the Dolphins ultimately came out on top after a crazy finish.
Colin Kaepernick stuffed by Miami defense at the 2 with 2 seconds left
They came oh so close.

The 49ers got the ball back with 1:44 to play down 31-24 in the game, and Colin Kaepernick led the 49ers down the field in an attempt to get their second win on the season and snap a nine-game losing streak.
The 49ers were scrambling down the field with no timeouts, and Kaepernick hit Jeremy Kerley with a beautiful pass that was initially ruled incomplete.
After review, officials gave Kerley the catch, who did a masterful job in getting his toes down and maintaining possession.
After the review, the 49ers made an attempt at the end zone that was well defended by the Dolphins. With two seconds left, the 49ers ran one final play.
Nothing was there for Kaepernick, who hesitantly decided to take it himself and was stopped 2 yards short of tying the game.
The 49ers fell to 1-10 as a result. Kaepernick had a solid game with 29 completions on 46 attempts, for 296 yards and three touchdowns against just one interception.
The Dolphins have now won six consecutive games after a 1-4 start. Ryan Tannehill led the way with 385 passing yards and three touchdowns. Jay Ajayi had 45 yards on the ground and a touchdown for Adam Gase’s squad.
